Dudley LOC AGM 2017
Date(s) - 26/06/2017
6:30 pm - 8:50 pm
The Annual General Meeting of Dudley LOC
Spectrum Thea are sponsoring a Dry Eye related talk after the AGM; the talk will be led by Christine Purslow- title to be confirmed.
It is anticipated that the meeting will be a short one, dealing only with necessary business. Of course, there will be an opportunity for any person to raise a point if they wish, and if you would like an item on the agenda please let me know.
There were elections for committee members in 2015. The current term of office is 3 years so there will not be committee elections this year. Â There is an agenda item to adopt the new model constitution, and if adopted it is proposed that elections to the committee will take place under the new constitution from 2018 onwards. Under the new constitution, officers are now elected by the committee at the first meeting following the AGM.
In order to reduce costs, the minutes of the last meeting and nomination papers are available to download at www.dudleyloc.co.uk/agm .The Chairs and Treasurers reports will be put online before the meeting, as will the new Business plan. Should you require a postal/proxy vote these will be available at the same site 21 days prior to the AGM (5th June). If you would like an email reminder, please let me know. Paper postal/proxy voting forms can be supplied if requested in writing by the deadline. We will also be discussing making a further contribution to the Central LOC fund. Details are on the website.
The Performer list is now managed nationally, so the LOC do not know who all performers are in the area. If you are a contractor please ensure all performers working at you practice have sight of this invite. If you are a performer and know of another performer who works in the area who has not been invited, please let me know. The new constitution now makes clear it is the responsibility of performers and contractors to inform the LOC of their contact details.
Ideally, please let me know of your attendance by email at firstname.lastname@example.org .
